Lilli’s Testimony

Hi my name is Lilli and I have been a Christian for 26 years. Before I became a Christian I was busy with bringing up a family and being a wife. I have always believed that God existed but He was not the centre of my life. I moved to Australia with my boyfriend in early 1982. We got married and in the first 2 years moved 8 times. It was not a good way to make long lasting friendships so needless to say I was lonely even though I was busy.

We moved to Bridgetown in 1988 and things did not get any better. My husband, Finn, ended up working with a born again Christian who witnessed to him and invited home to come to church. Finn got saved on Christmas Eve 1989 and I went to Church with him a few times before I gave my life to Jesus. Since getting saved life has been very busy. We have three children. God has shown Himself to be more real sometimes than I ever imagined. From providing when our own resources were not enough, to giving us the opportunity to go to faraway places like Fiji and India and Israel. I have also seen God heal the sick. Both myself and our children.

Overall it has been a very good life, much better than what is was and would have been without God. It has been the best decision ever and I can highly recommend it.
